Kawasaki FC180V

The Kawasaki FC180V is a 182 cc (11.1 cu-in) single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion small gasoline engine with vertical shaft manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries LTd., for general-purpose applications.

The FC180V engine has an OHV (overhead valve) design; cast-iron cylinder liner; float type carburetor with fixed main jet; flywheel magneto transistor type ignition system; mechanical governor; recoil starter with automatic compression release and low tone muffler. The engine uses a dual-element air cleaner and splash type lubrication system.

It has a 68.0 mm (2.68 in) cylinder bore and 50.0 mm (1.97 in) piston stroke. Compression ratio rating is 8.5:1. The Kawasaki FC180V motor produced 6.1 PS (4.5 kW; 6.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of horsepower and 11.8 Nm (1.2 kg·m; 8.71 ft·lb) at 3,000 rpm of torque.
