Kawasaki FD620DThe Kawasaki FD620D is a 0.6 l (617 cc, 37.7 cu-in) V-twin 90° liquid-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion small gasoline motor with horisontal shaft, manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries LTd., for general-purpose applications.

The FD620D has OHV (overhead valve design); cast-iron cylinder liners; twin-barrel carburetor; electromagnetic in-line fuel pump; full transistor ignition system with fixed timing; dual-stage air cleaner; mechanical governor; pressure feed lubrication system with positive displacement pump; 12-volt charging system and electric starter.

The Kawasaki FD620D develops 19 PS (14 kW; 18.7 HP) at 3,600 rpm and 44.6 Nm (4.55 kg·m; 32.91 ft·lb) at 2,200 rpm of torque. Bore and stroke are 76.0 mm (2.99 in) and 68.0 mm (2.68 in), respectively.

  1. I am looking for a carburator for a John Deere gator hpx 4×4 with a 617cc liquid cooled Kawasaki vtwin . The stock carb is a mikuni but is bad . Do you carry a replacement carb for this application? Tha ks

  2. The sparkplug listed above in the engine specifications is wrong. The plug is too short and will burn a hole in the top of the piston!!!
