Kawasaki FD791D DFIThe Kawasaki FD791D DFI is a 0.75 l (745 cc, 45.46 cu-in) V-twin 90° liquid-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion small gasoline motor with horisontal shaft, manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries LTd., for general-purpose applications.

The FD791D DFI has OHV (overhead valve design); cast-iron cylinder liners; multi-port digital fuel injection; high-pressure electronic fuel pump; flywheel magneto transistor ignition system; mechanical governor; low tone muffler and compact electronic control unit. The Kawasaki FD791D DFI uses a full pressure lubrication system with spin-on oil filter and dual element air cleaner.

The engine was equipped with solenoid shift-type electric starter and 12V-20A or 30A charging coil with a regulator.

The Kawasaki FD791D DFI produced 29.4 PS (21.6 KW; 29.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm or 26.4 PS (19.4 KW; 26.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum horsepower and 59.4 Nm (6.06 kg·m; 43.84 ft·lb) at 2,400 rpm or 54.9 Nm (5.6 kg·m; 40.52 ft·lb) at 2,800 rpm of torque. Cylinder bore and piston stroke are 78.0 mm (3.07 in) and 78.0 mm (3.07 in), respectively. Compression ratio rating is 9.0:1.
