
The FD851D DFI has OHV (overhead valve design); cast-iron cylinder liners; choke-free operation; electronic cold operation enrichment; electronic altitude compensation; multi-port digital fuel injection; high pressure electronic fuel pump; flywheel magneto transistor ignition or electronic ignition with spark advancement; mechanical governor; low tone muffler and compact electronic control unit. The Kawasaki FD851D DFI uses a full pressure lubrication system with spin-on oil filter and dual element air cleaner.
The engine was equipped with solenoid shift-type electric starter and 12V-20A or 30A charging coil with a regulator.

My 2016 Ventrac 4500P Tractor is powered by a Kawasaki FD851D V-Twin. I’m troubleshooting a recent degradation in performance. I found it odd that the OEM Service Manual did not include performance specifications. Specifically I find the OEM compression specification. However, your website provided this information. Having problems with sounding like flooding. Gauge for fuel pressure shows 22psi. This is with bypass hooked up. Without getting 32psi.
What should it be?
