Kawasaki FG300The Kawasaki FG300 is a 296 cc (18.06 cu-in) single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion small gasoline engine with horizontal shaft manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries LTd., for general-purpose applications.

The Kawasaki FG300 engine has a cast-iron cylinder liner; two main ball bearings; float type carburetor with fixed main jet and idle mixture adjustment; electronic ignition system; mechanical governor with variable speed control and electric starter with 12V, 4A charging coil. The engine uses a semi-wet, dual-stage air cleaner.

Bore and stroke are 78.0 mm (3.07 in) and 62.0 mm (2.44 in), respectively. Compression ratio rating is 6.0:1. The Kawasaki FG300 motor produced 7.6 PS (5.6 kW; 7.5 HP) at 4,000 rpm of horsepower and 15.2 Nm (1.55 kg·m; 11.22 ft·lb) at 2,800 rpm of torque. The FG300G – 1/2 cam gear reduction.
