Kawasaki FJ220DThe Kawasaki FJ220D is a 0.22 l (220 cc, 13.4 cu-in) single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion small gasoline engine with horizontal shaft manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries LTd., for general-purpose applications.

The FJ220D engine has an OHV (overhead valve) design; spherical combustion chamber; cast iron cylinder liner; dual ball bearing main journals; K-Twin balancer; float type carburetor with fixed main jet; CDI ignition system; mechanical governor and recoil starter with an automatic compression release. The engine uses a dual-element air filter.

Bore and stroke are 72.0 mm (2.83 in) and 54.0 mm (2.13 in), respectively. Compression ratio rating is 8.3:1. The Kawasaki FJ220D motor produced 6.5 PS (4.8 kW; 6.5 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum horsepower and 13.3 Nm (1.4 kg·m; 9.8 ft·lb) at 2,400 rpm of torque.
