Hatz 1B30VThe Hatz 1B30V is a 347 cc, (21.18 cu-in) single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion diesel engine with a vertical shaft, manufactured by Motorenfabrik Hatz GmbH & Co. KG for general-purpose applications.

This engine has a single-cylinder, overhead valves, and direct injection fuel system. The Hatz 1B30V engine can be equipped with a recoil starter or electric starter motor 12 or 24 Volts.

An 80.0 mm (3.15 in) cylinder bore and 69.0 mm (2.72 in) piston stroke give the 1B30V engine a total of 347 cc, (21.18 cu-in) of displacement. Compression ratio rating is 21.5:1. It produced from 3.5 PS (2.6 kW; 3.5 HP) at 1,500 rpm to 7.3 PS (5.4 kW; 7.2 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum output. The torque is 17.5 Nm (1.79 kg·m; 12.92 ft·lb) at 2,300 rpm.
