The Ford Duratec HE 2.0 / Mazda LF is a 2.0 l (1,999 cc, 120.0 cu.in.) straight-four 4-stroke natural aspirated gasoline engine from Ford Duratec-family and from Mazda MZR-series.
The Duratec HE 2.0 / LF features a lightweight aluminum block with a five-bearings crankshaft, aluminum head with two camshafts (DOHC), and four valves per cylinder. This engine used a gasoline direct injection (GDI) fuel system. The compression ratio ratings are 10.0:1, 10.8:1, or 12.0:1 depending on the modification. Cylinder bore and piston stroke are 87.5 mm (3.44 in) and 83.1 mm (3.27 in), respectively.
This engine produces from 132.0 PS (97.0 kW; 130.0 HP) at 6,000 rpm to 145.0 PS (110 kW; 147.5 HP) at 6,500 rpm of horsepower and from 175 N·m (17.8 kg·m, 129 ft·lb) at 4,000 rpm to 185 N·m (18.9 kg·m, 136.3 ft·lb) at 4,500 rpm of peak torque, depending on engine modification.
