The Subaru-Robin EC06D is a 60.8 cc (3.72 cu·in) single-cylinder air-cooled 2-stroke internal combustion general-purpose gasoline engine with horizontal PTO shaft.
The Subaru-Robin EC06D engine has a lined aluminum cylinder, float type carburetor, T.C.I. ignition system (Transistor Circuit Ignition) and recoil starter.
Cylinder bore is 44.0 mm (1.73 in) and piston stroke is 40.0 mm (1.57 in). The engine produced 2.6 PS (1.9 kW; 2.5 HP) at 5,000 rpm of maximum horsepower and 1.6 PS (1.2 kW; 1.6 HP) at 3,600 rpm or 1.9 PS (1.4 kW; 1.9 HP) at 4,500 of continuous power.
