The Zongshen GB225 is a 225 cc, (13.61 cu·in) single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion small gasoline engine, from GB-series manufactured by Zongshen Power Co. for general-purpose applications.
The Zongshen GB225 engine has an overhead valve (OHV) design, carburetor fuel system, transistorized ignition system, and a recoil starter. A 72.0 mm (2.83 in) cylinder bore and 55.0 mm (2.17 in) piston stroke give the motor a total of 223 cc of displacement.
The Zongshen ZS GB225 produced 6.0 PS (4.4 kW; 5.9 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum output power and 12.9 Nm (1.3 kg·m; 9.5 ft·lb) of maximum torque.
