Subaru-Robin EA190VThe Subaru-Robin EA190V is a 189 cc (11.53 cu-in) single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion general-purpose gasoline engine with vertical shaft manufactured by Industrial Products division of Subaru Corporation under the Subaru Industrial Power Products brand name (other names: Robin, Subaru-Robin and Wisconsin Robin).

The Subaru-Robin EA190V engine has an OHC (overhead camshaft) system with chain drive for optimized engine size and durability; hemispherical head with angled intake/exhaust valves; cast-iron cylinder line; float type carburetor; capacitance discharge type ignition system.

The cylinder bore is 68.0 mm (2.67 in) and the piston stroke is 52.0 mm (2.05 in), compression ratio rating is 9.0:1. The engine produced 5.5 HP (4.1 kW) at 3,600 rpm of maximum horsepower. Maximum torque is 11.2 N·m (1.1 kg·m, 8.3 ft·lb) at 2,500 rpm.

  1. Can I replace a Robin EC17 motor with a Subaru- Robin EA 190v motor and if we’ll will the engine mountings or holes be the same. Thanks
