The Honda GCV190 is a small (187 cc) single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion gasoline engine with vertical shaft, manufactured by Honda Motor Company for general-purpose applications.
This engine has a single-cylinder, compact combustion chamber, tough resin overhead cam for durability and quietness and uniblock construction reduce fuel consumption. The Honda GCV190 engine has transistorized magneto ignition, horizontal type carburetor, and a recoil starter.
The cylinder bore and piston stroke is 69 mm (2.71 in) and 50.0 mm (2.0 in), respectively. The compression ratio rating is 8.5:1. It produces 3.8 kW (5.1 HP) at 3,600 rpm and 11.3 N·m (1.15 kg·m, 8.3 ft·lb) of torque at 2,500 rpm.

I have a cgv190 motor it runs but it Serge’s how can I stop that..
I have a Honda GCV 190 and the speed adjust control on the handle bar is no longer working correctly. I have to pull it all the way In order to speed up the auto propel. And even then it doesn’t go hardly any faster. It’s only two years old and originally, it was very sensitive and a huge help for the up and down in my yard. I can’t find anywhere online that shows how to adjust it. Any help? Thanks.
I have a Honda lawn mower with a GCV-190 engine, which I need to replace. Can anyone tell me if the same model engine from a pressure washer will be a good replacement? I’m wondering if the mounting and the shop size will be the same on all engines with that model number

Release the flywheel brake lever to stop the engine.
Clean carburator jets
Carburetor needs cleaned
Thank for publishing all these specs just what I was looking for

Check the drive belt.
Follow the cable down to the left side mower handle, there is an adjustment screw there about middle ways down the handle.
How can I get a GCV190 motor manual and parts list with part numbers?
