The Kohler SV715 is a 725 cc, (44.2 cu·in) V-twin air-cooled four-stroke internal combustion gasoline engine from the Courage series, manufactured by Kohler Co.
The Kohler SV715 engine has an OHV (overhead valve) design, vertical PTO-shaft, and pressurized lubrication system. This engine is equipped with a carburetor with a fixed main jet and one of three ignition systems: Fixed Ignition System, Digital Spark Advance Ignition (DSAI), Digital Spark Advance Module (DSAM).
The cylinder bore is 83.0 mm (3.27 in) and the piston stroke is 67.0 mm (2.64 in). The compression ratio rating is 9.0:1. This engine produced 22.3 PS (16.4 KW; 22.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of horsepower and 55.6 Nm (5.7 kg·m; 41.0 ft·lb) at 2,200 rpm of torque.
