Rato RV140The Rato RV140 is a 140 cc (9.15 cu-in) single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion general-purpose gasoline engine with vertical shaft, manufactured by Chongqing RATO Holding (Group) CO., LTD for lawn mowers and tillers.

The Rato RV140 engine has a single-cylinder with a vertical shaft; an overhead valve (OHV) design; flat suction valve carburetor; dual element air filtration system; capacitance discharge type ignition system; centrifugal mechanical governor system and recoil starter.

The Rato RV140 motor has a 65.0 mm (2.56 in) cylinder bore and 42.0 mm (1.65 in) piston stroke with a compression ratio of 8.5:1. It produced 4.0 HP at 3,600 rpm of horsepower and 6.3 N·m (0.64 kg·m, 5.75 ft·lb) at 2,500 rpm of torque.
