Subaru-Robin EA175VThe Subaru-Robin EA175V is a 174 cc (10.62 cu-in) single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion general-purpose gasoline engine with vertical shaft manufactured by Industrial Products division of Subaru Corporation under the Subaru Industrial Power Products brand name (other names: Robin, Subaru-Robin and Wisconsin Robin).

The Subaru-Robin EA175V engine has an OHC (overhead camshaft) system with chain drive for optimized engine size and durability; hemispherical head with angled intake/exhaust valves; cast-iron cylinder line; float type carburetor; capacitance discharge type ignition system.

The cylinder bore is 68.0 mm (2.67 in) and the piston stroke is 48.0 mm (1.89 in), compression ratio rating is 9.0:1. The engine produced 4.5 HP (3.4 kW) at 3,600 rpm of maximum horsepower and 4.O HP (3.0 KW) at 3,400 rpm of continuous power. Maximum torque is 10.0 N·m (1.02 kg·m, 7.38 ft·lb) at 2,500 rpm.
