The Rato RV340 is a 340 cc (20.75 cu-in) single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion general-purpose gasoline engine with vertical shaft, manufactured by Chongqing RATO Holding (Group) CO., LTD.
The Rato RV340 engine has a single-cylinder with a vertical PTO-shaft; an overhead valve (OHV) design; flat suction valve carburetor; dual element air filtration system; Capacitance Discharge Type ignition system (CDI); centrifugal mechanical governor system and electric starter.
The Rato RV340 motor has an 88.0 mm (3.46 in) cylinder bore and 56.0 mm (2.20 in) piston stroke with a compression ratio of 8.5:1. It produced 13.0 HP at 3,600 rpm of horsepower and 11 N·m (1.12 kg·m, 8.11 ft·lb) at 2,500 rpm of torque.
