The Nissan TD25 is a 2.5 L (2,488 cc, 151.8 cu·in) straight four, water-cooled naturally aspirated diesel engine from Nissan TD family. The engine was manufactured from 1985.
The TD25 has a cast-iron cylinder block, a cast-iron cylinder head with OHV (over-head valves) design and two valves per cylinder. The camshaft is driven from the crankshaft by the timing gear. The cylinder bore is 93.0 mm (3.66 in) and the piston stroke is 92.0 mm (3.62 in). Compression ratio rating is 22:1.
The TD25 engine produced 81 PS (60 kW; 80 HP) at 4,300 rpm of maximum output power and 166 N·m (16.9 kg·m, 122.3 ft·lb) at 2,200 rpm of peak torque.
