
The Rato CGP200 engine uses the front structure of balance shaft to reduce engine vibration and improve stability; hot charging technique of crank and case to reduce the crank noise and extend lifetime. The engine is equipped with capacitance discharge ignition system (CDI), electric or kick starter and 5-speed gearbox with a manual wet multi-plate clutch.
The engine cylinder bore is 63 mm (2.48 in) and piston stroke is 62 mm (2.44 in). The CGP200 (RW167FML) produced 13.9 PS (10.2 kW; 13.7 HP) at 8,000 rpm of maximum horsepower and 14.0 N·m (1.43 kg·m, 10.32 ft·lb) at 6,000 rpm of torque .
