Rato R80

Rato R80The Rato R80 is a 79 cc (4.8 cu-in) single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion general-purpose gasoline engine with horizontal shaft manufactured by Chongqing RATO Holding (Group) CO., LTD. The R80 engine is ideal for the following applications: mini-tiller, pressure washer, generator.

The Rato R80 engine has a side-valve design; flat suction valve carburetor; recoil starter or electric starter and transistorized magneto ignition (TCI) system.

A 52.0 mm (2.05 in) cylinder bore and 37.0 mm (1.50 in) piston stroke give the Rato R80 motor a total of 79 cc of displacement. Compression ratio rating is 9.0:1. It produced 2.0 HP of horsepower at 3,600 rpm and 3.6 N·m (0.37 kg·m, 2.65 ft·lb) of torque at 2,500 rpm.
