Toyota 1S-i, 1S-iL, 1S-iLUThe Toyota 1S-i, 1S-iL, 1s-iLU is a 1.8 liter (1,832 cc, 111.8 cu-in) straight-four, four-stroke gasoline engine from Toyota S-family, manufactured by Toyota Motor Corporation since 1984.

This engine used SOHC (single overhead camshaft) design with two valves per cylinder (8 valves in total), cast-iron cylinder block, an aluminium cylinder head, single-point injection system with electronic control (central injection) and ignition system with mechanical distributor.

The 1S-i motor has an 80.5 mm (3.17 in) cylinder bore and 90.0 mm (3.54 in) of piston stroke. Compression ratio rating is 9.0:1

This engine may have had the following markings:
