
This engine has two cylinders, overhead valves (2 per cylinder), three main bearings, flyweight governor and Kiki fuel injection pump. The S126 engine uses Hitachi S12-61 electric starter, Hitachi L115-5B (12V-15A) alternator and Hitachi TRIZ-34 voltage regulator.
A 92 mm (3.62 in) cylinder bore and 95 mm (3.74 in) piston stroke give the motor a total of 1,263 cc, (77.07 cu-in) of displacement. Compression ratio rating is 23:1. The Toyosha S126 engine produced 23.0 HP (17.1 kW) of maximum output.

Great information!! I have a 1977 5020 with the S126 engine. It looks weathered but runs perfectly. I use it to run a 48” shredder. A great little tractor.
Does anyone know how to get a parts and repair manual for the Hinomoto E230 series tractor or manual for the S126 diesel engine?
