Honda GV100 engineThe Honda GV100 is a 97 cc (5.9 single-cylinder air-coolled four-stroke internal combustion small gasoline engine with vertical shaft manufactured by Honda Motor Company.

The Honda GV100 engine has a side-valve design with camshaft driven by a timing chain. It has a recoil starter, horizontal butterfly type carburetor, and flywheel magneto ignition system.

The cylinder bore is 52.0 mm (2.04 in) and the piston stroke is 46.0 mm (1.81 in). Compression ratio rating is 6.5:1. The Honda GV100 motor produced 2.6 HP (1.9 kW) at 4200 rpm of horsepower and 4.3 Nm (0.43 kg·m) at 3000 rpm of torque.
