Honda GCV135

Honda GCV135 engineThe Honda GCV135 is an 135 cc (8.2 cu-in) single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke internal combustion gasoline engine with vertical shaft, manufactured by Honda Motor Company since 1997 for general-purpose applications such as: pressure washers, lawn mowers, agricultural equipment, forestry equipment.

This engine has a single-cylinder, compact combustion chamber, tough resin overhead cam for durability and quietness and uniblock construction reduce fuel consumption. The Honda GCV135 engine has transistorized magneto ignition, horizontal type carburetor, and recoil starter.

A 64.0 mm (2.5 in) cylinder bore and 42.0 mm (1.7 in) piston stroke give the engine a total of 135 cc (8.2 cu-in) of displacement. Compression ratio rating is 8.5:1.

This engine produces 4.5 PS (3.3 KW; 4.5 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum horsepower and 9.7 Nm (0.99 kg·m; 7.16 lbf·ft) at 2,500 rpm of peak torque.

  1. The circular white disc on the side of the engine – is it necessary – mine has fallen off – can’t get it on again …..info required please…..

  2. Hello, I am looking for a carburetor (GB641NB22) for Honda lawn mower GCV135. It’s price plus shipping to Nakuru, Kenya

  3. My Delta 220 psi high pressure washer. It’s powered by Honda 4.5 small gas engine. I don’t have owners manual an need to know the type and quantity of oil to put in it. This engine runs great. However, I’m concerned about the 2200 psi pump. Should I be changing the oil (need type and quantity)in the pump or leave that to pump speacialist
