    • Hi Jim, long time since your post, not sure if you have an answer or still interested, my predicament as well. last year bought a Chinese knock off, cheap brand says Farmer Tec, box says “fits Honda GX 240”, which it does but not exactly the specs of the original Keihin. My engine, on a generator, 30 years old but little work, 242 cc I believe the modern GX 240 has the same 270 cc capacity so the replacement carby has a larger venturi diameter and a larger main jet, the result is the revs hunt up and down. I have tried replacing the main jet with the one from the Keihin, still no good next I will try to close down the venturi, 17.4 to 15.9mm and hope that works, had thought about trying to see if the likes of Kawasaki, Yamaha have one like it?
