The Torx TX420 is a 420 cc (25.63 cu-in) single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion general-purpose gasoline engine with a horizontal PTO shaft.
The Torx TX420 engine has a single-cylinder with a horizontal shaft, an overhead valve (OHV) design, horizontal carburetor, and recoil starter.
A 90.0 mm (3.54 in) cylinder bore and 66.0 mm (2.6 in) piston stroke give the motor a total of 420 cc (25.63 cu-in) of displacement. Compression ratio rating is 8.5:1.
The TX420 produced 13.0 PS (9.5 kW; 13.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum horsepower and 22.0 N·m (2.2 kg·m, 16.2 ft·lb) at 2,700 rpm of maximum torque.
